Introduction
Stress is a feeling emotional or physical tension . Emotional stress usually occurs when people consider situations difficult or unable to manage. different people consider different situation as stressful.
Physical stress refers to a physical reactions of the body to various triggers. the pain experimental after surgery is an example of physical stress physical stress often leads to emotional stress and emotional stress of ten occurs as physical discomfort (eg: stomatch cramps)
These are three stages as person goes through while suffering from stress
Alarm stage
Resistance stage
Exhaustion stage
Alarm Stage
This stage experiences an over acting of the sympathetic nervous system where in adernaline and cortisol increase and blood flows away from the brain to the muscles
As a result, dendrites shrink back in the brain to moderate the flow of information, slowing or closing down the non essential body function. The whole body starts preparing itself to fight against the reason of stress.
Example:
look at a student face just before he is going to give an exam.
Resistance Stage
In this stage the body keeps making continuous effort to cope with stress and therefore feels run down and exhausted. The person starts feeling irritated over react to minor situations and get mentally and physically weak. Psychological Physical and behavior changes are also clearly visible
Example:
When a child is sitting in the examination hall and writing his exam, he is bothered about completing it in time. He is making full effort to cope with the situation and his whole body engaged in fighting against the mind
Exhaustion Stage
If a student is preparing for his exam and despite of every possible effort,He is not able to relate to his studies. He is bound to get stressed.
The stress could reach a height where he/she may feel exhausted and helpless to the extent of committing suicide.
There are two phases:
1. Initial phase
2. Burnout
1. Initial Phase
The stress persist and due to lack of appropriate measure the person is not able to concentrate and work efficiently.
2 . Burn Out
The person is completely exhausted and drained of all energy reserves. There is a complete physical psychological and emotional breakdown. This requires " immediate attention".

Students, teens, professionals men, women, kids, elderly persons, everybody has been grasped by the pangs of one or the other types of stress at least once in their lifetime.
Students, kids and teens face situational stress at school, college and at other social situation. As their age is highly sensitive and emotional which directly or indirectly lead to stress.Professional and business men are amongst the highest stressed lot.
