3. Neutralization Tank
Now with the help of the pump, the water containing effluent of various industries enters into the neutralization tank. In the neutralization tank, the acid or alkali is mixed to neutralize the effluent. The pH meter is used in the neutralization tank to check the pH of the water before transferring the effluent into the coagulant bath.
4. Coagulant Bath
In this process, a coagulant is added with the effluent. Coagulant plays a vital role in the wastewater treatment process. When the coagulant attached with the effluent, then its size increases. As a result, the effluent gets to settle down at the bottom.
5. Settling Tank
In this tank, the effluent is separated from the water because the effluent set settles down at the bottom on the container. Now the water is ready to discharge. These days the effluent treatment plant is essential for almost all industries because due to environment protection, the Industrial water should maintain the various standard.
